March 6, 2004--The Fitness Directory.com launched today, striving to become the world's largest directory for regional personal trainer listings, as well as health and fitness resources such as dietary supplements and exercise equipment.

"Our sister site, the Spy Tools Directory, has been a huge success. We hope to duplicate that same success in the field of personal training/health and fitness with this new resource," said Steve Salm, lead editor. "We're excited for the challenges we face ahead in becoming an authority in this realm."

The site offers free website listings to regional personal trainers, in addition to health and fitness product manufacturers and distributors worldwide.

"We're brand new, so many of our categories are rather sparse," said Salm. "Those companies that take advantage of a free listing in these early days of the site will benefit from being (sometimes) the only listing for our site visitors to choose from, sending a lot of traffic their way. It's free, highly targeted advertising - you can't beat that."

Submitted sites to the directory are currently reviewed and added to the directory within 48 hours.
